EYE OPENING INSIGHT INTO BEHAVIOURAL CUES
91% of people lie regularly, yet the majority of people are only 54% accurate in detecting a lie. While many lies are trivial, some are significant and potentially damaging to relationships, communities and organisations. Understanding nonverbal communication cues conveyed by others, and adapting your own behavioural expression is key to seeking truth and concord.
In this session we'll reveal the nonverbal communication cues that point towards deception, giving you the power to spot red flags and adapt your response to seek the truth. But it's also a lot more than that. It will give you insight into behaviours that indicate dislike, discomfort and distress, and expressions that reveal true emotions. Helping you to understand others, identify vulnerable or at-risk individuals and better support the people you lead or interact with. Ultimately developing your emotional intelligence.
We'll show you how to recognise negative nonverbal behaviour and explore gestures that are the most reliable and telling, those that say one thing when words say another and those that convey a specific meaning, such as, "I got away with that". Then you'll learn how to adapt your own body language to seek concord; eliciting trust, connection and respect, whilst conveying competence and reliability.
You'll walk away with a greater ability to seek the truth and concord, a better understanding of others and a new and improved kerb appeal. A better version of yourself!
