Pankaj Sharma and Kate McIvor at TEDxPerth

TED

I’ve been a TED fan for many years now, so needless to say, when I was asked to be a Speaker Coach for TEDxPerth a couple of years ago, I jumped on the opportunity.

At the TEDxPerth events, I’m backstage with the tech team, just in case there’s a hitch with my speaker’s slide presentation or videos, etc. There’s a screen, but it’s not like seeing the talk from the audience. So with the recent publishing of Pankaj Sharma’s 2019 TEDxPerth talk, I jumped on YouTube to see it. While I was there, I re-watched Kate McIvor’s 2018 TEDxPerth talk. And now, after watching both of them I feel exhilarated, after a roller coaster of emotion. Through excitement, apprehension, sadness, happiness, hope and many more emotions, I’m reminded of my journey with each speaker and why I love doing this.

It occurred to me that as yet, I haven’t added any of my speaker's talks to my website, so here are Kate and Pankaj, my event closers for 2018 and 2019.
